Transsexual Rocks the Fashion Boat

The androgynous model causes confusion on the Brazilian runway, donning both menswear and womenswear in one show.


This year is definitely Andrej Pejic’s year. The androgynous male model has broken down barriers on the runway, on magazine covers and in print ads. At the San Paulo Fashion Week, Pejic took two turns on the Lino Villaventura runway, one in menswear and one in womenswear.


The handsome blond beauty first walked the runway in a slouchy black suit, and then closed the show in a dramatic charcoal gown with ruffles.

Pejic was recently in the news after FHM named the male model its 98th sexist women in the world.
